Holiday in Turkey

Ground floor apartment, 3 minutes stroll from the beach, will comfortably sleep 3. It has 1 twin-bedroom with a third single bed in an alcove adjoining the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room. There is a separate shower room/wc, and private terrace near the pool. The price includes aircon, microwave, hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, linen, towels, hairdryer and a small safe. You're only a few minutes away from everything, but the complex is surprisingly quiet and extremely safe with a keyholder on site.

A Small Single bedroom apartment sleeps 3 next to the comunual pool and no steep climb back from the beach closeby. If you like Turkey you'll love Turunc with its fabulous sea & mountain views, wonderful food & friendly people. Come and get away from it all in this beautiful little village.

There are plenty of traditional Turkish Restaurants, cafes & a host of excursions available. Try the Lazy Day boat trip (Ł12 including lunch) its a wonderful day out or visit the historical sites of Ephesus & Pamukkale. There's also horse riding, quad bikes, snorkeling, diving, para-sailing, white water rafting, boat hire, the choice is endless. If you want some hot night life get the taxi boat to Marmaris or Icmeler for a night to remember. Barter for bargains at the local market, laze on the blue flag beach or swim in the clear blue sea. If you just want to chill out, no problem the bars & restaurants in Turunc turn the music down at midnight, but you can stay & drink till the early hours. Airport Transfers can be arranged by private minibus at Ł50 for up to 4 people Ł55 for 5 or 6 people (extra charge for more).

Turkey boasts the most underrated cuisine in the Mediterranean, believe me it's not just doner kebabs in chilli sauce, but wonderful culinary delights of fresh seafood, clay-pot casseroles, grilled meats or a traditional Turkish cuisine of meze, a selection of both hot and cold hors d'ouvres all washed down with some Turkish wine or raki ... and very cheap too!

Facility Notes:
The spacious lounge/diner has an extra single bed in a large alcove, making this a comfortable holiday home for 3 people. Towels and linen are changed weekly, but this can be arranged more frequently for a small charge if required. There is a large pool just outside the apartment which is cleaned daily, as is the rest of the complex. Transfers can be arranged by private minibus. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay & will want to return to Turunc again & again. Turunc is definitely not for the 18/30s set, it's quiet, peaceful & surrounded by beautiful pine covered mountains, ideal for long slow walks on balmy evenings or a book on the beach in the sunshine. A larger luxury 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which can sleep 6, and a Villa with private pool that can sleep 8 are also available on this website.
